Captain Omerzeb Shaheed, A Tail Of Fulfilled Promises

Captain Omerzeb Shaheed belonged to 111th PMA Long Course. He got commissioned in Azad Kashmir Regiment (AK). He was in Lower Dir in 2009 as he was the part of the military operation named ‘Rah-e-Rast’ against miscreants. Captain Omerzeb Afzal Baig and two other soldiers died in the prime of their lives when their vehicle was blown apart in May 2009 by a remote-controlled roadside bomb planted by the Taliban.

Capt Omerzeb opened his eyes to the world in 1984 at CMH Rawalpindi. He was the third son to his parents. He weighed eight & half ponds when he was born with and had eyes and a smile to die for. He was debonair. anybody who would seem at him could by no means defy kissing him. He grow as a very good-humored and reassuring young man.

He called his fiancée at midnight of May 20-21 and wish her a exceptionally pleased birthday. In six diverse languages he sang for her birthday song. As her fiancé said that she was really missing him and was wishing that he should be here. In response to that, he said that he will be there for her tomorrow and like every hero of Pakistan, he kept his promise intact. He did arrive as he committed but on the broad shoulders of and his coffin wraped in Pakistani flag. He left this world on the same day that his beloved fiancée came to this world twenty three years earlier.

This story is really painful to write. This makes us proud to be a Pakistani. ALL HAIL HERO OF PAKISTAN.
