The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani meets the Chief of General Staff of United Kingdom, General Sir Peter Wall, according to the military’s media wing.
The meeting precluded the by discussions on of professional well beings, it also bring into fore the brief on Transformation of United Kingdom Army.
In future negotiations of the national security and the proceedings of defense were also on the table. COAS was all praise about Pakistan for giving precious insight into United Kingdom planning process.
Afterwards, COAS had meeting with Secretary of State for Defense, Right Honorable Philip Hammond along with Secretary of State for International Development, Right Honorable Andrew Mitchell.
The main focus of the discussion was about the matters regarding the national security and the British involvement in the education projects in Pakistan. This meeting was of core importance as Pakistan is the central ally of war against terror and last week USA was all praise for Pakistan for dishing out services in that respect.
