Pentagon enthusiastic to reform dependence with Pakistan Army

General Martin E. Dempsey, US chairman of the  Joint Chiefs of Staff, said he is happy that U.S. and Pakistani forces  leaders have discussed “common concerns” – in a recommencement of senior-level acquaintances  after more than a few months – as he articulated craving to re-establish confidence with Pakistan.

“We want to rebuild the trust and confidence between our two militaries,”  the top U.S. military officer believed.

Dempsey strut to reporters roving with him in South America as U.S.  military leaders, Centcom Chief Gen. James N. Mattis and commander of the NATO-led  International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan, Gen. John R. Allen, meets Pakistani Army Chief General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani in Pakistan.

It was the utmost level-military meeting flanked by the United States and  Pakistan since November 26, 2011, event that killed 24 Pakistani soldiers the length of  the Afghan border.
