Seven Pakistani soldiers embraces shahadat in a clash with the Taliban militants in the Doga Madakhel Area which is in the Northern Waziristan tribal region on Friday. Doga Madakhel is around 40 km away from the Miramshah, the headquarters at the North Waziristan.
According to the tribal sources, that the militants opened fire on the soldiers when they entered Doga Madakhel. According to the local villagers, the search operation was being conducted which did not augured well with the local people. The villagers were not happy as the troops entered the village without any prior information. And eventually the militants and security forces were involved in a clash.
According to the senior official, “A group of militants attacked a double-cabin pickup truck at Khar Kamar area in Doga Madakhel and killed seven soldiers. The gunship and Cobra helicopters have been sent to the area and these pounded the hideouts of the militants,. After the long time, this is the first incident of this type in the troubled region as the peace treaty has been signed between the local Taliban and the Government. The attack is also said to be the consequence of the misunderstanding between the soldiers and the militants.
