Today i was searching through some army blogs and came up with an idea to add a post about the best army non-official websites. Pakistan armed forces have always been popular among the people, and we support them with our hearts as much as i love the army i have great respect for the webmasters who put hard effort to write such topics which boosts the morale of the men at front.

Defence.pk or Pakistan Defense is a blog and forum, established on August 14th 2005. The Editor of the portal is Ahsan Farooqui actually its a network on many defense forums of different countries such as Turkey, Iran, Australia and China. Though Blog posts are very rare in the blog but the forum is most popular in defence forum which has 42,855 Active Members and you can easily find it in Google if you search for Pakistan army related terms. On the second comes Pakistan Soldiers, from what we can see this blog has been formed in August 2011 that being a surprise and very shocking that this blog has gained so much popularity in such a short time frame. The blog is owned by Ghulam Sarwar, Pakistan Soldiers is winner of “Best Sector Coverage Award for 2011″ in Pakistan Blog Awards. I personally like this blog very much all the writers and reporters of this blog are on top of their category, I wish more success to Mr. Ghulam Sarwar on their mission to promote the armed forces of Pakistan. Pakistan Soldiers has an Alexa Rank of 63,607 Global Rank and 369 Rank in PK with Facebook Fans of 48,321 people and still growing.

A website with vast information about the Army assets, Defense news, Press releases, Photo galleries and much more. It is one of the oldest Army related website and is live since 1994 so it has gained good results in search there are some lacks in the website but the forum is running well with 4,048 Registered members, but they need to improve few bugs in the website if they want to stay in the long run. Nonetheless very good website if you want to get closer to the Armed Forces Of Pakistan

4. PakistaniDefence.com
Pakistan Defence – Men At Their Best is another website with lot of good Pakistan Military content, very well written articles, images galleries, weapon analysis and news about the Pakistan Defence. Another website with a Forum, it has 10,930 Total Registered Members, so that is a lot but it lacks a visibility in Search Engine. Otherwise it could be better than Pakdef.info, I find really useful information here when i don’t know what to look for. With Alexa of 144,434 Global Rank and 13,320 Rank in PK. The site just needs to update on regular basis otherwise very good source of information.

5. PAF Falcons
PAF Falcons is a website about Pakistani Air Force or you can say Pakistan Fighter planes, what I personally like about this website is that they have huge collection of Image Gallery from various wars and other training missions, they don’t add posts much often but some good features about the site include its PAF Falcons Calendar, You can download it from their website, it also has a forum with 1374 Registered Members. Global Alexa Rank is 736,424 and Rank in PK is 35,382 and 40,906 Facebook likes. I like their mission statement to promote awareness about Pakistan Air Force among the your of Pakistan that what and how PAF did so many sacrifices for the sake of this country they really are Heroes Of Pakistan.

Even though your blog is army based but not all your posts are i like reading your blog and it really is interesting but PafFalcons has more than 40k Facebook likes and pakdef.info has more information about armed forces and articles about the assets of army. if you like i will add your website as well just send me some of the details about your websites similar to what i have written here. and i will post that.
